I just finished watching the movie "Unthinkable"

I am not sure I should recommend this movie to anyone because it is SO disturbing, then again we must think the unthinkable and the premises of this film does just that. Take a look at the trailer and decide for yourself if you should see this film, be aware it will disturb you.

I wouldn't call that disturbing, to me anyhow disturbing is a dancing, talking purple dinosaur.

Good, disturbing movie. I still miss the point on why he lets himself get caught though.

Disturbing? Or yet another 'wake up and smell the coffee'. You decide.

Well after watching the entire 'Jerico' series and finding myself addicted to it, I think I'll benefit from watching this too. It may be disturbing to think that something like this may actually happen, but I'll use this as a lesson just as I did watching 'Jerico'. Funny how the movies seem to follow the facts of the times.

All about pride, that was the whole point of it.
He wanted EVERYONE in his crazy little Muslim Chandra to know what he did.

Think RESPECT like sui jap soldiers. KAMIKAZE

In a certain way it was kind of a slap in the face, cause it was like HA we are here and we will do it and you AMERICANS are to LAZY, STUPID, AND selfish and WONT do anything but ask your government for help.

Just my opinion

I suggest watching it again.
    Thanks,

I disagree Johnny, to me because our bomb maker the Muslim convert worked for the western/US as a special forces operative he felt that he had to atone for his sins, the sin of killing the innocent. By allowing himself to be captured he could suffer for those actions thereby cleansing himself.

The movie is "Unthinkable" not Unbreakable hence our bad guy killed himself to prevent being broken. The Unthinkable part is how far will we as a people go.

TigerPaws Sir,
I like your reasoning. I also like the word choice 'atone'. I recently (April 2010) heard the word used as 'substitutionary atoner'. I really must see this movie soon, you all have me hooked from your comments.
