2 gallons of water, a few granola bars, a few cans of potted meat, crackers, and some hard candy. I bring a cooler of stuff as well when on longer trips, especially with the family.
To old to play, to young to leave the game!?

I just keep some cereal bars, coffee, sugar, water, and some single serve kool-aid packets that go with the water bottles in case I need a sugar boost.
People say I have a bad attitude.

After several years being stationed in Minot. I carry a survival kit in every car. Military chow kits, folding stoves, #10 cans, candles, blankets-wool, sleeping bag or two.

Jerky, dried fruits and soups. Usually several packets of oatmeal. Crackers and canned meats.

About a case of water scattered around the car in different places. Tools kits, tarp, shovel. Jumper cables, booster, lights, cold lights, tow straps.

OK I know I'm paranoid.
I am the grumpiest hippie you will ever meet.

I keep a small 3 day emergency kit in the car with thermal blankets, candles, flashlights, etc. Heavy winters here and some ppl have been known to be stuck in snow banks on the highways for a couple of days or more. for food I have some homemade MRE's that I put in vaccuum sealed bags. Nuts, dried fruit, jerky, and high calorie emergency food bars.

None, nada, zip.

The heat and humidity here ruins everything...and red ants like to eat, too.

I do keep kits ready to go, but I stay pretty close to home :D

In the family vehicles - not unless we are going on trips. There is just not enough room and too much potential for mess (we already keep a first aid kit, spare belt/tire/top off fluids, bag of 2-way radios, cb's, and who knows what else in the main family vehicle). Now when we get another conversion van (on our want list) that may change as there will be more room lol.

In my service truck I TRY (I'll forget from time to time)to keep extra water and dry snacks (on top of my lunch that I usually bring) for in case I get stuck somewhere or get hit by some hypoglycemia while working out in the middle of bfe.

I have jumper cables, flashlights, tools, duct tape, air pump, tire sealer,
rope, road flares, chem lights, emergency first aid kit, water, emergency rations, insulated copper wire, lighters, permanent marker, winter warm leather jacket, pillow(one likes their comfort), sturdy shoes (in case I am wearing heals or sandles etc.), extra pair glasses, trash bags, zip ties, hatchet
There may be more in there I am not sure. I have not driven in a while. I ride my motorcycle mostly.
Which reminds me I have to put some food in there.(I have very nice saddle bags. Big enough to fit a small child in lol
